How do I inquire about or book a retreat? For those of you who don't know me personally, start by filling out this inquiry form. I will reply to set up an intro call to make a connection and discuss availability and specific requirements you may have. If we're already in community, feel free to send me a text, email or private Facebook message.
What’s your policy for reservation-holds and cancellations? All retreats must be paid in advance, in full, before booking is final. Cancellations are non-refundable and will be credited to a future retreat within one year.
How can I contact you? If you haven't noticed the email link on the bottom of every page, no problem! Here it is: [email protected]
Do you do retreats at your cabin all year long? No, retreats are offered September — May.
Are retreats just for women? Yes, they are just for women.
Are all retreats Thursday through Sunday? That seems to be the sweet spot, but I do consider shorter and longer options upon request.
How many women can attend a retreat at once? The cabin can accommodate a four-guest maximum if two people are willing to share the full bed. (There are two twin beds and one full bed in the shared loft area.) You can come alone or bring a group; each booking is private to you/your group.
Is the cabin accessible to people with disabilities? Unfortunately not at this time.
Do you have Wi-fi? I do, but I encourage guests to unplug from technology as much as possible.
What’s the bathroom situation like? The cabin has two bathrooms — one half bath in the loft and one full bath on the main floor off of the master bedroom. The slanted walls (because of the cabin’s A-frame construction) make both spaces a little smaller than most bathrooms. Again, unfortunately the cabin is not accessible to people with disabilities.
What can I expect with the meals? We eat simple, nutritious meals together — breakfast, lunch and dinner — made by me in my kitchen. (I always welcome help with prep if you're up for it!) Generally, I serve lots of fruits, veggies, salads, shrimp, chicken and eggs. Plenty of coffee and tea as well. We can discuss allergies and food restrictions on our intro call.
How far away from the airports are you? Tranquility Point is about an hour drive from both local airports: Lafayette Regional Airport and Alexandria International Airport. Transportation to and from these airports is included in the cost of the retreat.
Do you allow smoking, drinking or drugs at the retreat? No drugs or alcohol are permitted at any of the retreats. There is no indoor smoking allowed; although you can smoke outside and away from the house.
